From swords n' sorcery fantasy prog to bold n' brave conceptualism and later electronic furtherance, the Toronto trio never chased fame or found it necessary to soothe critics, and were equally hated as they were worshipped. But there's no denying that their musicianship and lyrics of poetic literature have made them stand as quintessential idols for introverts. Happy 50th Anniversary. R.I.P. Neil Peart and John Rutsey.
